Our Story
Recycle Solar Caribbean was founded in 2024 by a team of engineers, environmentalists, and Caribbean entrepreneurs who saw an urgent need: the region's solar boom was creating a looming waste crisis.
As early adopters of solar energy, the Caribbean will be among the first regions globally to face mass panel decommissioning. Without proper recycling infrastructure, millions of panels would end up in landfills, leaching toxic materials into our precious island ecosystems.
We set out to change that narrative. By establishing the Caribbean's first dedicated solar panel recycling facility, we're not just preventing environmental harm—we're recovering valuable materials, creating local jobs, and proving that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand.
Today, we serve customers across 15+ Caribbean islands, recovering 95% of materials from every panel and setting a new standard for renewable energy circularity.
